Have a Meaningful Holy Week

It's the season of Lent, and in this Holy week a very long weekend is ahead for the Filipinos with holidays starting from April 5 to 9, 2012.
Most went home to the provinces, while some are taking advantage to sit back and relax in their homes or out of the country. Whatever we do, wherever we may be on this time of the year, at least we should not forget the true meaning of Lent.
Let us renew ourselves and have meaningful days.

Give up pessimism——become an optimist.
Give up harsh judgments——think kindly thoughts.
Give up worry——trust Divine Providence.
Give up discouragement——be full of hope.
Give up bitterness——turn to forgiveness.
Give up hatred——return good for evil.
Give up negativism——be positive.
Give up anger——be more patient.
Give up pettiness——become mature.
Give up gloom——enjoy the beauty that is all around you.
Give up jealousy——pray for trust.
Give up gossiping——control your tongue.
Give up sin——turn to virtue.
Give up giving up——hang in there!
