Ephesus at Selcuk in Izmir, Turkey

Ephesus  was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia, three kilometers southwest of present-day İzmir ProvinceTurkey.
The city was famed for the Temple of Artemis (completed around 550 BC), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The ruins of  the ancient city of Ephesus are a favorite international and local tourist attraction, partly owing to their easy access from Adnan Menderes Airport.

The place is a two hours ride from Aliaga, Izmir Turkey where the vessel was loading and discharging. It was quite a long ride but it was all worth it. Historical and Biblical revelations unfolded before our very own eyes. Magnificent and well preserved!
